I have created my work around the Buddha statue. In this series, I have devised backgrounds for the statue based on what inspired me in nature. I choose the statue, not because of my faith, but more to explain my awareness of daily life.

When I look at the world today I feel sad to see how far away from Buddha we have travelled - terrorism, refugees and homelessness, destruction and death and although many of these issues are happening far from Japan it is a global issue that has been created by technology. I decided that I wanted to travel back to our original roots. I realized that modern society is starting to re-think about freedom and liberty and so I want to focus on freedom and get back to our origin.

Buddha said, "What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow. Our life is the creation of our mind."

I would like to invite you to a space in your mind where the flow of energy between everything is the catalyst releasing you to fuse with life itself.
If you feel the flow, you can change your mind and create your life with feedom.
